To complete this kit, you will need to purchase the following separately:
68x MX or Choc Style switches and keycaps (66x 1U, 2x 1.5u)
2x Encoders of your choice (EC11 Encoders, ALPs EC11EBB24C03 Dual Axis Encoders, Panasonic EVQWGD001 Roller Encoders) (Note that use of the Dual Axis Encoders disables I2C communication)
2x Pi Pico or equivalent MCUs (Note: You must use a regular Pi Pico, the W/H/WH variants will not work, and any clones need castellated holes for surface mounting.)
Top/Bottom Plates or Case - 3D printable case files available here
USB C to USB C cable for the interconnect.
Additional optional components (Note that each half only supports one additional device at a time, such as a single screen, Cirque touchpad, or VIK module):
1x or 2x Waveshare 2inch IPS ST7789 SPI LCDs
1x or 2x Solenoid Haptic VIK module
1x or 2x 1.28inch GC9A01 SPI Round LCDs (Important, pinout should be as follows: RST-CS-DS-SDA-SCL-GND-VCC, see https://www.amazon.com/Teyleten-Robot-Display-Interface-240x240/dp/B0B7TFRNN1/ for an example)
1x or 2x Cirque touchpads
1x or 2x VIK compatible modules (Recommend Fingerpunch for all VIK modules: https://fingerpunch.xyz/product-category/vik-modules/ )
***Please note this is a fully DIY kit, with the main MCU being self-sourced, and all soldering done by the customer. This is a intermediate level build, and it is highly recommend that you have some SMD soldering experience, and experience using a multimeter for continuity testing. Please check for continuity between VCC and GND on your MCUs on both sides before plugging into a USB port, if you detect a short, do not plug the keyboard into a USB port to prevent damage, and check your soldering. Split Logic Keyboards is not responsible for damaged equipment due to faulty soldering or MCUs. All support is provided through our Discord server #build-help channel.
